1. Mismatched Season 2 (Netflix, 14th October)

Season 1 of Mismatched was liked by many. The coming-of-age romantic drama’s new season broadens the focus on dating and relationships by illuminating the complexities of the concepts of love, heartbreak, and moving on. This show is India’s answer to Gen-Z content.

2. The Watcher (Netflix, 13th October)

This mystery-thriller series shows the story of a family moving into their dream home, only to find that they have entered into chaos. Starring Naomi Watts, Bobby Cannavale, and Jennifer Coolidge, this series would keep you hooked.

3. The Rings of Power – Finale Episode (Amazon Prime Video, 14th October)

The much-awaited season finale of ‘The Rings of Power’ is out. With a big shocking twist and at least three more revelations, the final episode sets the stage for the upcoming seasons. Without giving out any spoilers – we can only say go watch it now!

4. House of the Dragon (Disney+ Hotstar, 9th October)

With one episode dropping every week, the HBO show has been constantly keeping the audience on tenterhooks. In case you didn’t get time during the week, go ahead and catch up on the 8th episode of ‘The Lord of the Tides’. This particular episode really cements Eve Best (Rhaenys Targaryen) as one of the best actors in the series so far.

5. Do Baaraa (Netflix, 15th October)

The official remake of the Spanish film Mirage, this Anurag Kashyap film was released in theatres earlier this year and has made it to Netflix this weekend. Starring Taapsee Pannu, the time-travel-based movie is about a young woman who gets the opportunity to save the life of a 12-year-old.

6. Good Bad Girl (SonyLiv, 14th October)

Maya Ahuja (played by Samridhi Dewan) is a manipulative lawyer with a great sense of humor, and would not stop at anything until she makes it big. The show takes us through three timelines in Maya’s life and portrays how she lies her way out of things or takes advantage of the situation. The show has received mixed reviews, but can be a good one-time watch.

7. Shantaram (Apple TV+, 14th October)

Based on the novel by Gregory David Roberts of the same name, the series has some great performances. A convicted bank-robber escapes from Australian prison, and lands in 1980s Bombay. How he navigates his struggles and is pulled into the underbelly of the city, makes for an engaging watch. With 3 episodes releasing this weekend, the show will have total of 12 episodes in the current season.

8. Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu (Amazon Prime Video, 13th October)

Rated 7.8 on IMDb, the movie directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon was released in theatres on 15th September. It’s the story of a low-caste boy trying to survive on Mumbai streets. But his actions inadvertently get him involved with the underworld, where he then tries to make his mark.

9. Aashiqana Season 2 (Disney+ Hotstar, 10th October)

The romance-thriller series returns with the second season on Hotstar. Featuring Zayn Ibad Khan and Khushi Dubey in lead roles, the new season follows the story of a killer trying to murder Chikki.

10. Byomkesh Hotyamancha (Hoichoi, 14th October)

Byomkesh Bakshi alongside his confidant Ajit, investigates the case of a tripartite tale of love, betrayal, and infidelity. The show will keep you engrossed, and you would be left asking for more.
