Then and now we come across celebrities love affairs, controversies, rumors, gossips etc which surprises us. But the ‘love child secrets’ are few things which are not that common. Be it a superstar or a simple star it is difficult to openly admit to having a child before marriage with your partner, in our Indian society.
These celebs didn’t followed the traditional path and despite the societal stigma became the biological parents of kids without marriage. Beside handling the social humiliation, few of them faced the challenge of raising the child all alone.
1. Masaba Gupta – Neena Gupta and Vivian Richards
It was during the 80s that this Neena fell in love with West Indies ace cricketer Vivian Richards. The couple had a daughter Masaba Gupta which Neena raised all alone as a single mother breaking all the norms of the society. Today Masaba is a well Known fashion designer in Mumbai.
2. Jaan – Aamir Khan and Jessica Hines
Now this involves a big name of film industry. Mr Perfectionist of Bollywood had a short relationship with a British journalist named Jessica Hines. The couple had a short live-in relationship too. The news came as a surprise when Jessica revealed the name of the father of her son Jaan. As per sources, Aamir was shooting for his movie Ghulam when the incident happened.

3. Norah Jones – Pandit Ravi Shankar and Sue Jones
It is quite a shocking to know that sitar maestro Pandit Ravi Shankar had an affair with New York based concert producer Sue Jones. Both together had a daughter Norah Jones. It is being said that Nohra was not in good terms with her father till she was 18 after which they became friendly. Now she is in good terms with his step-sister Anoushka Shankar too.
Nohra is an American singer, songwriter, pianist and actress.
4. Prateik Babbar – Smita Patil and Raj Babbar
Prateik Babbar is the son of actors Raj Babbar and Smitha Patil. Prateik was a result of Raj’s extra-marital affair with Smitha Patil. As per reports Raj Babbar left his wife to be with Smita but she took her last breath due to cancer. Also Raj was never interested in giving his name to the child to which he agreed later on.

5. Shruti Haasan – Kamal Haasan and Sarika
Bollywood and Tollywood super famous stars Sarika and Kamal Haasan had a short love affair during the 1980s which led to a child named Shruti Haasan. Kamal was then married to classical dancer Vani Ganapathy. Sarika was very brave to give birth to her child without thinking about the society. However, the couple got officially married after Kamal Haasan separated from his first wife. Kamal and Sarika later have another daughter named Akshara. Later Sarika and Kamal too got divorced.
6. Inaya Kohli – Purab Kohli and Lucy Payton
The actor, Purab Kohli who was recently seen in Airlift had an affair with British actor Lucy Payton. He never kept his personal affair hidden from media and that he has a daughter out of wedlock. Of course like any other controversy, he was subject to public opinion when he had an offspring with his British girlfriend Lucy Payton. They have named the girl Inaya Amelia who was born in 2015. He has recently tied the knots with Lucy on February 15, 2018.
