Many of us look to Bollywood celebrities for a fashion influence or to see what they are wearing and what’s in. The celebrities are under constant scrutiny, be it by fans or critics.
It is impossible to dress well on all occasions when there are a thousand eyes following you around. Some rise to the task while some fail miserably. Here are some major fashion faux pas that has made us look twice :

1. Priyanka Chopra at the Met Gala:
Priyanka and her met looks have always been the talk of the town. In 2017, her trench coat was a hot topic. Her Ralph Lauren number was not spared by the meme police or the fashion police. Her longest trench coat fiasco did not go down in the good books.
2. Deepika Padukone :
Deepika is seen as one of the most fashionable of the B Town celebrities and all her looks are carefully critiqued and monitored, from her airport looks to her red carpet looks. One of her most disastrous ensembles is the MTV VMA’s 2016. She is seen wearing a green outfit and paired it off with green tassels which only make it worse.

3. Sonam Kapoor :
Sonam is called the “fashion diva”, and is always a treat to see on the red carpet with her modern, futuristic, and fun take on Fashion. However, her Elle Saab gown for the 2015 Cannes Film Festival was a complete failure. The look was not taken too well as was even compared to ‘maggi’.
4. Urfi Javed:
The OTT persona had always grabbed the attention of critics due to her bold outfit choices and often trolled. If her garbage bag outfit wasn’t enough trolling she stepped out to the airport with a cropped denim jacket over a pink brassiere with matching denim jeans.
5. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan:
once crowned the most beautiful girl in the world, is no exception to the troll police. Aishwarya has always been chic and poised in all her public appearances. However, in 2013 her all golden ethnic ensemble was not appreciated. It was too overwhelming and not pleasing to look at.

6. Sonakshi Sinha
Sonakshi has always been trolled due to her weight and her fashion choices. Being presentable for public events is just a hit and miss affair for our celebrities. And Sonakshi has too often been a miss when it comes to her red carpet outfits, especially her Cleopatra number.
7. Kangana Ranaut
The ‘controversy queen’ stirs up controversies wherever she goes and the red carpet is no exception.
8. Vidya Balan :
in an attempt to showcase the regal air and pomp of the Indian ethnic attire, Vidya takes it too far in the Cannes Film Festival in 2013 and ends up being a target for trolls. They went so far as to state that she looked like she was attending a “big fat Indian wedding” and not the Film Festival.

9. Alia Bhatt :
Over the years Alia has had some really good fashion moments and some really bad ones as well. But we can see her change and growth in her fashion choices from the beginning until now. One of her early outfit choices, a golden ensemble with the over-accessorized look is just one her worst to date.
10. Mallika Sherawat :
Talking of fashion faux pas, it is safe to say that Mallika will make it to the top of fashion disasters on the red carpet. In addition to being too over the top, they’re also known to be a little too bold for the critics.
