Bollywood is known to churn out movies in different genres like romantic, musical, period drama, action and much more. Fans watch the films and share their reviews some are appreciative while some criticise the makers. But not many know all the hard work that goes into making a single film. Each person plays an important role in the shoot of the film to go as planned and as smoothly as possible. But even though precautionary measures are taken by the makers but as we know accidents are inevitable. There have been instances when actors have fallen prey to accidents on the sets. Sometimes it is a minor injury but sometimes it lands the actors in a hospital fighting for their life.

Amitabh Bachchan landed in the hospital in a critical state due to internal injuries sustained during the shoot of Coolie. Alia Bhatt was injured on the sets of Brahmastra while shooting for the same in Bulgaria and more recently we had Sidharth Malhotra who was injured while shooting for Rohit Shetty’s Indian Police Force.

Amitabh Bachchan
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan was injured on the sets of Manmohan Desai’s Coolie. The shocking incident took place while shooting an action sequence. The superstar was punched by actor Puneet Issar when he mistimed a jump. Big B was immediately rushed to a hospital. He underwent several surgeries and remained critically ill in hospital for several months.

Shah Rukh Khan
The Badshah has been injured several times while working on various films. But during the shoot of Happy New Year SRK injured his shoulder which was already in a bad condition after previous surgery. It took the actor a long time to recover from this health issue.
Akshay Kumar
The Khiladi who is known to do death-defying stunts was injured while filming an action sequence for Singh Is Bling. During a song sequence, the actor injured himself as he tried to jump through a ring of fire. Everything went as per plan during rehearsals, but Kumar mistimed the jump in the final take injuring himself.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
The stunning beauty was injured while shooting for her movie Khakee. The actress not only fractured her leg but also suffered other injuries as a jeep rammed her during the shoot.
Hrithik Roshan
The Greek God of Bollywood has been injured during the shooting of Agneepath. Hrithik was rushed to the hospital for treatment. He was also injured while shooting for the action drama Bang Bang and went through brain surgery due to a blood clot while shooting for Bang Bang.

Alia Bhatt
The Raazi star suffered an injury while shooting for Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. She also suffered an injury while shooting for Brahmastra. Alia hurt her right shoulder and arm while filming a stunt sequence in Bulgaria. She also hurt suffered a leg injury during the shoot of the Ayan Mukerji directorial and was advised bed rest by the doctors.
John Abraham
John had a near-death experience on the sets of the film Shootout at Wadala. It so happened that Anil Kapoor shot an empty bullet shell at the actor from close proximity. It passed close to John’s neck. The injuury could have easily left him in a bad condition but he was lucky to have just a burn mark around his neck region.
