The 3rd instalment of the popular YRF franchise Dhoom 3 featured Aamir Khan in a double role. The gorgeous Katrina Kaif scorched the screen with her Kamli. But do you know Deepika was offered Katrina’s role but she rejected it due to her busy schedule? The movie went on to be one of the most talked-about instalments of the Dhoom franchise.
Fast and Furious 7
Deepika Padukone made her Hollywood debut in 2017. But she was offered a role in a Hollywood blockbuster much earlier. Yes, Deepika was offered Fast and Furious 7 but she was shooting for Ram Leela with Ranveer Singh. So the beauty had to let go of the offer due to her booked schedule. The actress was being considered for the role of Maithili; however, she had to turn it down due to her busy schedule. The role later went to Sonam Kapoor Ahuja.
Jab Tak Hai Jaan
Jab Tak Hai Jaan is quite special to Yash Chopra fans as it is the last film directed by the iconic filmmaker. Reports abounded that Deepika was being roped in for Akira’s role in the movie which featured Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead. However, things didn’t work out and the role went to Anushka Sharma.
