2. ZNMD contributed to Spain’s tourism business

You’d be lying if you claimed that you did not want to plan out a trip to Spain after watching this film, some of you all may have even executed the plan out, whereas some haven’t.

But because of the film, Spain’s tourism business had a hike of 65%, and also the Tomatina Festival which was shown in the film was not during the actual festive season, it was off-season and to shoot that 16 tonnes of tomatoes were flown in from Portugal to Spain. Good investment, good for skin, and who’d not love to celebrate the best festival twice in a year anyway?

Shankar Mahadevan confessed that he composed the popular music of the song, Dil Chahta Hai while brushing his teeth. Perks of being super talented, I can’t even come up with what I wanna eat for breakfast while brushing.

10. DDLJ’s Raj Malhotra without Shah Rukh Khan?

DDLJ is regarded as Bollywood’s most iconic romantic movie. You will be shocked to know that Shah Rukh Khan was not the first choice for the role of Raj Malhotra. It was also offered to Saif Ali Khan and Tom Cruise. It’s hard to think that the romantic king wasn’t the first option.

In a short span of three to four weeks, Aditya Chopra completed writing the film. Thank god the others rejected, otherwise seeing anyone other than SRK in that dreamy character would have taken a toll on any hopeless romantic’s (like me) mental health.

The film was a success, and it went on to win numerous awards. Kangana Ranaut also worked as a dialogue writer for the movie in addition to playing the lead role in it. She did it in order to make it more genuine, which also provided the film with more realism.

The added dialogues were also credited to her. Despite the fact that the film was shot in another country, Vikas Bahl’s budget was so low that he couldn’t even cover the charge of Kangana’s vanity van.

Maybe you were one too, it’s okay if you don’t wanna admit it cause that’s embarrassing. But do you recall the movie’s traffic signal scene? That’s how Hrithik met Sussanne Khan, his ex-wife, in real life.

14. Rockstar was shot in reverse & Nargis wasn’t aware of Imtiaz Ali or Ranbir Kapoor

Despite Ranbir being a phenomenal actor and his impressive acting in Rockstar, he was not Imtiaz Ali’s first pick. Nargis Fakhri, an American supermodel, was unable to communicate in Hindi.

She had never heard of Imtiaz Ali or Ranbir Kapoor. Because they didn’t want to compromise with Ranbir’s haircut, the movie was shot in reverse, which means the finale was shot first.
