Bollywood is said to be a simple numbers game. The person who continuously does well at the box office as opposed to on-screen is allowed to stay, while everyone else is sent out. Bollywood is a very lucrative business! According to hearsay, the good effort isn’t necessarily the key to success in Bollywood.

Many movies have set box office records while having shoddy plots, and many others have flopped despite having a strong plot and strong performances. For a movie to compete in and succeed in the big box office game, several elements must come into play.

It’s nearly inconceivable to think that the math underlying their career graph could paint a different image given the star power of today and the absurd sums of money they are earning on projects.

Career ups and downs are inevitable, but being at the top of your field comes with a lot of obligations. It’s important to precisely satisfy the audience’s expectations. That is the exact reason why so many talented women while having a reputation for being excellent performers, have produced more flops than blockbusters.
