The South Indian film industry has a massive platform. However, when compared to Bollywood, it is not nearly as popular. Bollywood provides actors with a lot more exposure, which benefits them later in their careers. Not only was there a lot of publicity, but there was also a lot of unnecessary drama. However, several performers are said to have turned down a number of Bollywood projects. The following are some of the actors:

Anushka Shetty
After the release of Baahubali, Anushka Shetty earned the greatest clout. In 2011, she was offered Singham, but she turned it down. Due to her tight schedule, she had to decline Ittefaq.
Mahesh Babu
He is one of the most well-known performers in South Indian cinema. He appears in Hindi films, most of them are dubbed. When he receives offers for Bollywood films, he declines since he chooses to stay in his hometown.
Fahadh Faasil
He was offered a role in a film by Vishal Bhardwaj. He also mentioned in an interview that he did connect with Vishal and thought the script that was pitched was great. Fahadh was quite impressed with it and was looking forward to seeing the movie.
In Bollywood, he had also exchanged a number of roles. He did say, though, that he would act out those parts when he felt confident enough to do so. He considers himself to be who he is today as a result of the Malayalam cinema industry.
Nayanthara
Nayanthara was approached for the song One to three four get on the dance floor in the film Chennai Express. She had the opportunity to share the screen with Bollywood’s Badshah, Shah Rukh Khan. However, she turned down that offer for unclear reasons.
Allu Arjun
The film Bajrangi Bhaijaan was first given to Allu Arjun since it was planned to be done in various languages. Hrithik Roshan was approached after Allu declined. Following Hrithik’s rejection, Salman was approached for the role and acted it out.
83, starring Ranveer Singh, was also offered to Allu Arjun, but he turned it down.
Nivin Pauly
He did say, though, that doing films in any language other than Malayali makes him nervous. At the same time, he desired to push his own limits in this area. In the film Manmarziyaan, he was offered the role of Vicky Kaushal.
Nivin was also considered for the lead role in Sushant Singh Rajput’s film Chhichhore.
Rashmika Mandanna
Rashmika Mandanna has been dubbed India’s national crush. She was offered to share the screen with Shahid Kapoor in the remake of Jersey when she garnered prominence. She supposedly turned down the films because she didn’t think she was good enough for them. As a result, she decided to focus solely on commercial films.
Puneeth Rajkumar
Typically seen in Kannada films. Puneeth was also considered for the role of Bajrangi Bhaijaan in the film Bajrangi Bhaijaan. He passed on that project since the script didn’t appeal to him.
Yash
After the film, KGF, he gained all of his well-deserved fame. He has been offered Laal Kaptaan since the release of the picture. The film was offered to Saif Ali Khan after Yash declined the deal.
Darshan
In the film Dabangg 3, the Kannada actor was offered the part of antagonist. However, because he turned down the role, it was later offered to another actor.
Vijay Devarakonda
Many Bollywood scripts were turned down by Vijay Devarakonda. This included some really high-budget projects that could have been a potential for him gaining a lot of fame and money. He recently accepted the role of Kiger in Karan Johar’s film, which will be distributed in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
