Laal Singh Chaddha to release soon
A perfectionist, marketing genius and more - Aamir Khan has quite a few positive tags attached to him. He is the one who supposedly scouts for his films very carefully. Now, he is gearing up for the release of his film Laal Singh Chaddha. It is the Hindi version of Tom Hanks' film Forrest Gump. The trailer and the songs has created quite a buzz around the film. Dhoom 3
Aamir Khan's multi-starrer action drama was reportedly inspired by Christopher Nolan’s 2006 film, ‘The Prestige’. Though there was a lot of buzz around it, the film failed to impress the audience. Even then it made around Rs 350 crore in domestic market.
Ghajini
Aamir Khan received a lot of critical acclaim for his performance in Ghajini. It was a remake of another Christopher Nolan film called Memento. It was the highest grossing film of 2008 as it crossed the Rs 100 crore mark.
Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke
Hollywood film House Boat was the inspiration behind Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla's movie Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke. The film released in 1993 received a good response from the audience. It made around Rs 9.7 crore back then.
Mann
Aamir Khan and Manisha Koirala's love saga in Mann was inspired by a Hollywood film called An Affair To Remember. The film was loved by the audience and it collected around Rs 35 crore. More than double of its budget.
Ghulam
Aamir Khan and Rani Mukerji starrer was a remake of a film called Kabzaa which was supposedly a remake of the Hollywood film ‘On the Waterfront. Till today, the songs of this film are a hit. It made around Rs 25 crore.
