Rupali Ganguly, Gaurav Khanna, Sudhanshu Pandey and Madalsa Sharma starrer  TV show is one of the most watched TV shows in the country. It has been topping the TRP charts for weeks now. While the ratings have been fluctuating somewhat, Anupamaa has not left the TOP spot for many months now. However, despite being the top and most-loved and watched TV show, it has not been without criticisms and flak. Anupamaa has had its fair share of controversies and the makers have been at the receiving end of criticisms from fans. Just recently, the post-leap blunder came to light. Anupamaa goof-ups: The post-leap blunder with Kinjal's pregnancy 

Recently, Anupamaa took a short leap of about 7 months. Anuj and Vanraj had met with an accident and Anuj had slipped into a coma. Before the accident, Kinjal had been a couple of months pregnant already and her baby bump was quite visible. Plus her baby shower was conducted too. However, even after the leap, Kinjal is still pregnant.

Anupamaa goof-ups: Rupali Ganguly aka Anupamaa's bad mehendi

When it was Anuj and Anupamaa's wedding track, during the pre-wedding festivities, Anu's mehendi design got a lot of flak. The CD and the makers of the show were slammed for the poor mehendi design. Later Rupali had clarified that the mehendi was not real and had a logical decision behind it. She revealed that there's a superstition on applying mehendi after having a kid in her family. And hence, the mehendi was made using flour and fevicryl mouldit.

Anupamaa goof-ups: No space to dance at MaAn wedding/sangeet

The MaAn wedding took place alongside the grand wedding of AbhiRa from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. They had a destination wedding while the MaAn wedding was comparatively done on a small scale. Netizens had slammed the makers for the same, some even complained about the little space at the events. It was said that Shahs is a middle-class family and hence the small scale. Netizens had pointed out that Anuj Kapadia is a businessman.

So, soon after the wedding, Anu and Anuj went to an orphanage and were planning to adopt little Anu. The netizens were super angry with the makers for rushing into the new track so soon. Fans wanted to see Anu and Anuj's post-marital romance.

Anupamaa goof-ups: Anu defending Vanraj's character

When Aneri Vajani aka Malvika entered Anupamaa, her closeness with Vanraj had left Anuj worried. Anupamaa had come to Vanraj's defence saying that he can be wrong but not cheap. Netizens were very angry that Anupamaa, who had to face terrible personal trauma because of Vanraj was defending him.
