Paras Kalnawat was recently ousted from Rupali Ganguly starrer Anupamaa. The actor opened up on his side of the story after his contract was terminated when he decided to take up Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10. Here's dark side to his story...

A couple of days ago, Paras Kalnawat who was popularly known as Samar Shah from Rupali Ganguly, Sudhanshu Pandey and Gaurav Khanna starrer Anupamaa was ousted. His contract was terminated from the show after he decided to participate in the dance-based TV show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10. Paras Kalnawat took to his social media handle and shared a reel video, signing off as Samar Shah from Anupamaa. He described the incident as nothing but a nightmare saying that the people close to him were very well-informed about his feelings. Paras was not happy with his character of late. However, he has thanked the cast, crew and the production house for giving him the opportunity to play Samar in Anupamaa. Well, with all that has happened in the past and now, Paras Kalnawat's story has in a way exposed the dark side of working in the entertainment business and a TV show.

In an interview, Paras Kalnawat revealed that the toughest moment of his life was when he was asked to resume the shoot of Anupamaa in just four to five days after his father's demise. Paras lost his father in March this year. The actor shared that it was very difficult for him to resume shoot after losing his father. However, the cast members of Anupamaa had tested COVID-19 positive due to which the production team called him and asked him to join. It was a very heavy decision to make but she chose Anupamaa and joined the show leaving his mom, relatives and everything behind.

Paras Kalnawat also talked about his side of the story while the production house called it a breach of contract. Paras revealed that his repeated attempts to work things out with the makers about his track weren't fruitful. He shared that he would just stand in the background for 20 to 30 pages of the scene without any dialogues. Paras said that he is not ready to be that kind of an actor.

Well, a similar thing had happened with Giaa Manek where she was replaced by Saath Nibhaana Saathiya makers overnight as she participated in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. And Paras Kalnawat revealed in an interview that he was given an example of Giaa Manek by the production team. However, Paras feels that every actor has his own journey and that everyone has a right to pick for themselves. Give the same love to the new actor playing Samar Shah and the show, he said. While talking about his decision on leaving Anupamaa, well, it is given that Star Plus and Colors are considered to be rivals. The makers asked Paras to choose between Anupamaa and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10. Paras wanted to explore the opportunity as an actor, and dancer and explore the reality world.
