Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is retuning to Tv sets soon. The new season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 1o is premiering on 3rd September with Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar and Nora Fatehi as the judges. Also, the contestants are Shilpa Shinde, Gunjan Sinha, Dheeraj Dhopar, Nia Sharma, Amruta Khanvilkar, Rubina Dilaik, Gashmeer Mahajani, Paras Kalnawat, Zorawar Kalra and Niti Taylor to name a few. Before one of them is declared a winner, let's have a look back on the past winners and the runner-ups.

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 1 winner and runner-up: Mona Singh, Shveta Salve 

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 1 premiered in 2006. Mona Singh was declared the winner with Shveta Salve as the runner-up for the season. The second runner-up was Mahesh Manjrekar.

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 2 winner and runner-up: Prachi Desai, Sandhya Mridul 

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 2 premiered in 2007 with Prachi Desai winning the dance-based TV show. Sandhya Mridul and Jay Bhanushali were 2nd and 3rd runner-ups, respectively.

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 3 winner and runner-up: Bhaichung Bhutia, Gauahar Khan 

After a gap of a year, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa returned with the third season in 2009. Former Indian professional footballer, Bhaichung Bhutia participated in the dance show and went on to win it. Gauahar Khan and Karan Singh Grover were the 2nd and 3rd runner-ups.

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4 winner and runner-up: Meiyang Chang, Sushant Singh Rajput 

Jhalak Dikhhla jaa 4 happened in 2010-2011. Meiyang Chang won the show and Sushant Singh Rajput was the 1st runner-up. Yana Gupta was in 3rd place.

The fifth season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa premiered in 2012. Gurmeet Choudhary won the season. Rashami Desai was placed 2nd with Rithvik Dhanjani in 3rd place.

Duranga actress Drashti Dhami won the sixth season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. She faced tough competition in Lauren Gottleib and Sonali Majumdar.

Popular actor Ashish Sharma won the seventh season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Karan Tacker and Shakti Mohan were placed 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9 winner and runner-up: Teriya Magar, Salman Yusuff Khan 

The last season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa took place five years ago. DID L'il Masters winner and dancer Teriya Magar won the 9th season with Salman Yusuff Khan bagging the 2nd place and Shantanu Maheshwari on the 3rd spot.
