Shehzada is the official remake of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. The original with Allu Arjun was a blockbuster. It is available on Netflix in Hindi. Many have watched it on YouTube and illegal sites. It really looks there was no need for a remake whatsoever.
Akshay Kumar for Soorarai Pottru (2020) remake
Honestly, there was no need for a Hindi version of Soorarai Pottru. The Tamil film was one of the biggest hits for Amazon. It has such good word of mouth that many from all over the country watched it. Given it is a biopic, the story cannot be altered too.
Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake
John Abraham and Arjun Kapoor are doing the remake of Ayyappanum Koshiyum which came out in 2020 in Kerala. The Telugu remake Bheemla Nayak starring Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati has been a huge hit. We wonder if the story will work with the Bollywood audience.
Aditya Roy Kapur for Thadam (2019) remake
Arun Vijay's Thadam was a huge critical and commercial hit. The movie was remade in Telugu as Red. The remake did not do very well. Now, a Hindi remake is being done with Mrunal Thakur and Aditya Roy Kapur. We wonder if there is any novelty left?

Hrithik Roshan-Saif Ali Khan for Vikram Vedha (2017) remake
Well, Pushkar Gayathri the original directors of the neo noir action film are making the Hindi version too. There is a Boycott campaign against the movie already. Vikram Vedha is coming in a month or so. But this might just turn out to be the best remake amongst all given the terrific team. But it has been already watched by a number of people in the Hindi speaking belt.
Ranveer Singh for Anniyan (2005) remake
S Shankar announced that he is making Anniyan in Hindi. The original came out in 2005 and people have watched it as Aparichit on TV a number of times. The move of Ranveer Singh got criticized. But the project has now run into legal hassles.
