Host Amitabh Bachchan played the fastest finger first with 10 contestants. Dhulichand Agarwal from Durg, Chattisgarh made it to the hot seat and Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan informed everyone about the new rules and changes in the format of the show.

The contestants will have to give 3 contacts and they can select one person to seek help when they get stuck. The person connected over the video call will stay until the answer till the time the answer is revealed.

Ask the expert lifeline which as added from season 4 has now been devoid. In previous seasons, the contestant who fails to answer Rs 7.5 crore, would be able to take home Rs 75 lakh. But, now the prize money will be dropped to Rs. 3.20 lakh.
