Laal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan box office collection
Laal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan are two of the biggest releases of 2022. But, the films have been rejected by the audiences. The movies were released on 11th August 2022 which was a partial holiday (Raksha Bandhan), but still it didn’t manage to take a bumper opening. In three days, both the movies have not even reached Rs. 30 crore at the box office. Now, in the upcoming months many more biggies are slated to hit the big screens. So, will those films save Bollywood?
Brahmastra
After being in the making for more than five years, finally, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra is slated to release on 9th September 2022. The film’s trailer and songs have grabbed everyone’s attention. But, it’s made on a huge budget, so it will be interesting to see whether the movie will get a great response at the box office or not.
Vikram Vedha
Remakes have failed to make a mark this year, and next remake to hit the big screens is Vikram Vedha. The movie stars Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles. Fans of the actors are excited for it, but recently after Hrithik praised Laal Singh Chaddha, #BoycottVikramVedha has been trending on social media.
Tejas
Kangana Ranaut starrer Dhaakad failed to make a mark at the box office. But, her fans are eagerly waiting for the actress’ next release Tejas which is all set to hit the big screens on 5th October 2022.
Ram Setu
After three back-to-back flops, Akshay Kumar’s fourth release of the year will be Ram Setu. The movie is slated to release on Diwali this year, and let’s hope that the festival factor helps the movie at the box office.
Thank God
Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra, and Rakul Preet Singh starrer Thank God is also slated to release on Diwali this year. So, it will be Ajay vs Akshay at the box office.
Bhediya
Dinesh Vijan is taking his horror-comedy universe forward with Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon starrer Bhediya. The movie is all set to hit the big screens on 25th November 2022.
Cirkus
Rohit Shetty got audiences back to the theatre with Sooryavanshi last year. On Christmas this year, his film Cirkus starring Ranveer Singh is slated to release. It will be interesting to see whether the Simmba team will be able to deliver a blockbuster or not.
Ganapath – Part 1
Tiger Shroff starrer Heropanti 2 was a disaster at the box office. But now, all eyes are on Ganapath – Part 1. The film also stars Kriti Sanon and it is slated to clash with Cirkus at the box office on Christmas this year. There were reports that the movie has been postponed to 2023, but there’s no official announcement about it.
Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali / Bhaijaan
Salman Khan’s next Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali (Bhaijaan) is reportedly slated to release on 30th December 2022. While the makers have not yet announced the release date officially, Salman’s fans are excited to watch him on the big screen soon. It will also mark Shehnaaz Gill’s Bollywood debut.
