Laal Singh Chaddha day 1 collection
On August 11, Aamir Khan's film Laal Singh Chaddha finally made it to the screens. Amidst all the negativity and #BoycottLaalSinghChaddha trend, the film did hit the theatres and even competed with Akshay Kumar's Raksha Bandhan. However, the film could not witness a massive day one collection as expected. As per the early estimates coming in, Laal Singh Chaddha has garnered around Rs 10 to Rs 11 crore on its first day. The numbers are poor given that it is an Aamir Khan film.

As reported by Box Office India, the early estimates of Raksha Bandhan suggest that Akshay Kumar has taken the lowest opening ever. The film is said to have collected approximately Rs 8 crore on day one. The numbers are indeed shocking! It appears that the film is going Shamshera way.
Shamshera day 1 collection
Ranbir Kapoor's biggies Shamshera produced under YRF was touted to be a big disaster at the box office so far. The film had collected Rs 10.8 crore at the box office on its opening day. But it looks like Raksha Bandhan is going to beat Shamshera in the list of massive duds.
JugJugg Jeeyo day 1 collection
In fact, Varun Dhawa, Neetu Kapoor, Kiara Advani, and Anil Kapoor starrer JugJugg Jeeyo also had a better opening than Raksha Bandhan. It had made more than Rs 9 crore on its opening day.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 day 1 collection
It's Kartik Aaryan's film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 that did well at the box office. On its opening day, the film had collected approximately Rs 14 crore. It is one of the biggest success stories of 2022 so far from Bollywood.
