Whenever Independence Day draws near, it’s but natural to feel a bit more patriotic, and there’s nothing jingoistic about it. And a huge part of Independence Day for any Bollywood movie-buff revolves around revisiting some of the best patriotic movies. So, with Independence Day 2022 around the corner, we thought of mixing it up a bit and instead of circling back to the usual war films, why not look back at those Bollywood superstars like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Sunny Deol and more who were out-an-out ‘Dil Se Desi’ yet oh-so-cool while being desi in their movies.
