1. Udan Patolas
4 small town girls try to hilariously fit in the big city. They may be unlucky in love but their sisterhood is unbreakable. The series handles friendship, love life, and work-life situations in six episodes. The show stars Aastha Ssidana, Sukhmani Sadana, Apoorva Arora, and Poppy Jabbal in key roles the web series premiered on June 10th on Amazon mini TV.
2. Masoom
Disney+ Hotstar’s Masoom, the Indian remake of the Irish drama series Blood. The six-part psychological thriller series, set in Falauli, Punjab, follows a daughter’s quest to unearth the truth about her mother’s death, though her family wishes to hide the truth under the garb of love and protection. Featuring Boman Irani and Samara Tijori, Masoom was launched on June 17th, 2022 on Disney + Hotstar.
3. Bandon Mein Tha Dum
Web series Bandon Mein Tha Dum will chronicle the Indian cricket team’s historic Test series win in Australia in 2020–21. The show captures behind-the-scenes footage and candid accounts from the cricketers, coaches, and journalists involved in this iconic milestone. The show was launched on Voot on June 16th, 2022.
4. She Season 2
After the success of the first season, She’s is returning with the second season The second season’s plot will continue where the first season ended. Facing the dual forces of duty and passion, Bhumika is back in the dark streets of Mumba. Starring Aaditi Pohankar in the lead cast, the show premiered on June 17th on Netflix.
5. Hush Hush
The show will tell stories about the difficulties their characters experience as they encounter an event that pulls them all together. Ayesha Jhulka, Juhi Chawla, Soha Ali Khan, Karishma Tanna, Kritika Kamra, and Shahana Goswami will play major characters in the new women-centric series. Hush Hush premiered on Amazon Prime Video on June 22, 2022.
6. Avrodh Season 2
The first season was premiered in July 2020, the show is set in the aftermath of the 2016 Uri attack and the surgical strike that followed. With Amit Sadh as the lead, the second season of the series premiered on Sony LIV on June 24th.
7. Asur Season 2
This murder thriller was a huge success when it was first launched in 2020. Starring Arshad Warsi, Barun Sobti, Ridhi Dogra, and Anupriya Goenka, the show is returning with Season 2. The film’s production was completed in January 2022, and it is set to be released soon.
8. The Family Man Season 3
The show doesn’t need any introduction. After two successful seasons, the series will return with more nail-biting investigations as the protagonist deals with his personal troubles and family concerns. Season 3’s plot will most likely revolve around the COVID-19 pandemic and China’s attack on India’s North-Eastern states. Starring Manoj Bajpayee, Sharib Hashmi, and Priyamani, the show’s release date is yet to be announced.
9. Four More Shots Please Season 3
With Damini, Umang, Sidhi, and Anjana, Four More Shots Please will return in 2022 with a new season. With love, blunders, relationships, and friendships, this show will show a strong sisterhood bond. As per the sources, the series wrapped filming in April and will premiere on Amazon Prime Video by the end of the year.
10. Delhi Crime Season 2
Starring Shefali Shah as Vartika Chaturvedi, a police officer, and her team handle the challenging cases in Delhi Crime. Along with Shefali Shah, the show has Rasika Duggal, Rajesh Tailang, Avijit Dutt, and Adil Hussain in the key roles. The show is set to return to Netflix in 2022 with its second season. The series will air on Netflix on 26 August 2022.
11. Mirzapur Season 3
Mirzapur Season 3 on Amazon Prime is one of the most anticipated releases of 2022. Two families from a small Uttar Pradesh town have their fortunes interwoven in this novel. With their popular roles of Kaleen Bhaiya, Guddu Pandit, Munna Tripathi, Golu Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyenndu, and Shweta Tripathi will return. It is expected that no one will be changed in Mirzapur Season 3; the cast includes Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyendu Sharma, Shweta Tripathi, Rasika Duggal, and Priyanshi Painyuli, among others.
12. Made in Heaven Season 2
We all fell in love with the Delhi wedding planners – Tara Khanna and Karan Mehra. And we are so excited that after a successful season 1, the show is soon going to return with another entertaining season. The show is expected to be back with crazier and grander aristocratic nuptials. Just like in the first season, the two will plan weddings while juggling their own personal issues. Starring Sobhita Dhulipala, Arjun Mathur, Jim Sarbh, Shivani Raghuvanshi, Shashank Arora, and Kalki Koechlin, the show will be soon back at Amazon Prime Video. The release date has not yet been set.
13. Breathe 2
Starring Abhishek Bachchan, Ivana Kaur, Amit Sadh, Shruti Bapna, Saiyami Kher, and Nithya Menen, the crime thriller is about a father who suffers from multiple personality disorder and is willing to do any crime to save his daughter from a kidnapper. The second season of Breathe was announced as part of Amazon Prime Video’s 2022 list of announcements. The series premiere date is yet to be announced.
14. Pataal Lok 2
Starring Jaideep Ahlawat, Abhishek Banerjee, Ishwak Singh, and Niharika Lyra Dutt, this show is based on the underworld, swarg, and narak. The show follows the journey of a disgruntled inspector, who is assigned to investigate a high-profile crime. Pataal Lok, the popular mythical crime thriller, will have a second season on Amazon Prime in 2022.
15. Yeh Kali Kali Aankhein Season 2
The makers unveiled the poster for the second season of the thriller starring Tahir Raj Bhasin, Shweta Tripathi, and Anchal Singh in February 2022. The first part of the show left fans on the edge, and now they want answers about what will happen to Purva, Vikrant, and Shikha. The series will be back on Netflix in 2022.
16. Decoupled Season 2
The series Decoupled was about an affluent couple that decides to divorce after a loveless marriage. However, their decision to split raises concerns with their close friends and family. The series stars R. Madhavan, Surveen Chawla, Sonia Rathee, Dilnaz Irani, Darren E. Scott, and Shrutee Choudhary. Season 2 could premiere in 2022 if the series is renewed soon on Netflix.
