While films like Raksha Bandhan and Laal Singh Chaddha have already fallen prey to this trend, there are some upcoming movies that can also have a severe negative impact due to this trend. Netizens have also been trending to boycott Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's film Tiger 3. Inevitably, things got escalated further after Sushant Singh Rajput's death. It will be interesting to witness if this will affect the box office collections of this otherwise successful franchise.

This Shah Rukh Khan starrer has been on the radar of the Boycott Bollywood brigade for quite some time now. It further aggravated after the demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput and when the alleged drug case of Shah Rukh's son Aryan Khan had come to light.

There are several reasons why the Boycott Bollywood brigade has been calling to boycott this film. From Karan Johar being the producer to Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt being a part of the movie who are allegedly hailed as 'nepotistic' stars, some netizens are totally boycotting the movie. A scene from the trailer that showed Ranbir's character entering the temple with his shoes further angered the netizens.
