Actors often refuse to play older characters in TV, films or series. Unlike other actresses, few of them refused to age and play mothers on screens. Yes, you read that right. From Aishwarya Sharma to Nia Sharma; here is a list of TV actresses who REFUSED to play the roles of mothers in the shows.
Nia Sharma
Jhalak Dikkla Jaa season 10 contestant Nia Sharma who was part of popular TV show - Jamai Raja had quit the show as it was going to take a time leap. Nia was expected to play a mother and she felt her journey on the show was over as the makers decided to take a time leap.
Aishwarya Sharma
Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin actress Aishwarya Sharma refused playing the role of a mother on-screen in Meri Durga. The actress decided to quit the show as she was not comfortable playing older role.
Jasmin Bhasin
Bigg Boss 14's Jasmin Bhasin quit Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji as she had to play the role of a mother. Jasmin was reportedly not comfortable doing so.
Surbhi Chandna
Surbhi Chandna did not play the role of a mother in Ishaqbaaz as she did not wanted to play older role.

Meera Deosthale essayed the role of Chakor in Udaaan. The actress refused to play the role of mother and reportedly said that she is just 22 and how can she play a mother to a 18-year-old.
