South stars whose Bollywood debut went unnoticed
South films have always managed to create huge box office numbers with their exceptional films. These South superstars ventured into Bollywood, but did not create impact with their presence as imagined by everyone. Suriya, Ram Charan, Prithviraj, Vijay Deverakonda and many other South stars have already made their Bollywood debut, but went unnoticed. Have a look at this.
Vijay Deverakonda
Liger actor Vijay Deverakonda was seen in the film alongside Ananya Panday and the movie was Puri Jagannadh. The actor worked hard for his Bollywood debut, but the film did not do well at the box office.
Prabhas
Baahubali actor Prabhas made his Bollywood debut in Saaho which was helmed by Sujeeth. The film starred Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles. The movie was made on a grand budget, but failed to create success at the box office.
Suriya
South actor Suriya is one of the biggest names in the Tamil film industry. The actor made his Bollywood debut in 2010 with Rakht Charitra 2. Suriya played the lead role in the film, but the movie did not get amazing response.
Ram Charan
RRR star Ram Charan is a big star in the Telugu film industry. He made his Bollywood debut in 2013 with Zanjeer alongside Priyanka Chopra as the lead female. The film was a disaster at the box office.
Mohanlal
Malayalam star Mohanlal made his Bollywood debut with Company film in 2002. His acting chops were appreciated, but the film did not do well.
Chiyaan Vikram
Chiyaan Vikram made his Bollywood debut in 2010 with Raavan. The movie starred Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Chiyaan Vikram in the lead roles. The film was flopped at the box office.
Prithviraj
Malayalam star Prithviraj made his Bollywood debut with Aiyyaa in opposite Rani Mukerji. The movie did not make a mark at the box office.
