National Cinema Day: Here's how much Brahmastra, Chup and other movies collected at the box office with less ticket prices

National Cinema Day

23rd September 2022 was celebrated as National Cinema Day. The tickets prices in all the theatres were just Rs. 75 and this surely helped more footfalls in theatres. While Brahmastra has enterted its third week, Chup, Dhokha: Round D Corner, and Avatar (re-release) were new releases. Brahmastra box office collection

Brahmastra has surprised one and all. On its third Friday, the Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt collected more than the second Friday. The film on its day 15 has collected Rs. 10.79 crore taking the till date total to Rs. 241.43 net (all languages) in India.

Chup box office collection

Chup starring Sunny Deol, Dulquer Salmaan, Pooja Bhatt, and Shreya Dhanwanthary also benefited due to National Cinema Day. On its day one, the film collected around Rs. 2.80 crore.

Dhokha: Round D Corner box office collection

R Madhavan, Darshan Kumaar, and Khushalii Kumar starrer collected Rs. 1.25 crore. There wasn’t much buzz about the film, but clearly the National Cinema Day has given it a decent start.

Avatar box office collection

Avatar 2 is all set to release in December this year, and the makers have re-released the first part in theatres. The movie on its day one collected around Rs. 2.50 which is good for a film that’s having its re-run.
