Naturally, these stars are a favourite choice of brands for endorsements. But it is not easy to get a South Indian star to endorse. Reportedly, over the past year, Baahubali star Prabhas has rejected deals that could amount to almost Rs 150 crore. As per a report on news18.com, the actor is very choosy when it comes to brand endorsements as he knows that anything he does can have a great influence on people.
Allu Arjun
Allu Arjun's popularity has increased multiple folds after the success of Pushpa. He is swamped with offers of films and brand endorsements. Recently, there were reports suggesting that he rejected Rs 10 crore deal to endorse a paan-masala brand.
KGF 2 star Yash
KGF 2 star Yash is also among the big names who have refused to endorse paan-masala brands. After the success of KGF 2, he reportedly rejected a multi-crore deal to be the brand ambassador of a gutka brand.
Sai Pallavi
Actress Sai Pallavi has raised her voice against endorsing fairness creams. She reportedly rejected Rs 2 crore deal as reported by HuffPost India. She also said that every colour is beautiful.
Nandamuri Balakrishna
Telugu actor Nandamuri Balakrishna does not take up brand endorsements at all. As reported by Etimes, the veteran actor was quoted saying that he does not want to use the love showered on him by his fans for commercial purposes.
Silambarasan TR
Maanaadu actor Silambarasan TR too has reportedly rejected big brand endorsement deals as reported by Pinkvilla. Allegedly the endorsement was for the liqour brand.
