RRR for Rs 350 crore, KGF 2 for Rs 320 crore; Will Brahmastra OTT release deal break the record?

RRR

SS Rajamouli’s RRR starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR is one of the biggest hits of the year. The movie collected around Rs. 1200 crore gross worldwide and as it was one of the most awaited films of the year, the OTT rights of the movie were sold for a huge amount. Reportedly, the streaming rights of RRR were sold for Rs. 350 crore.

KGF 2

Just like RRR, Yash starrer KGF 2 was also one of the most awaited films of 2022. The movie did phenomenal business at the box office, and according to reports, the OTT rights of the film was sold for Rs. 320 crore

Laxmmi Bomb

Akshay Kumar starrer Laxmmi Bomb got a direct-to-digital release on Disney+ Hotstar. Reportedly, the film was sold to the OTT platform for a whopping amount of Rs. 125 crore.

Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha starrer Bhuj: The Pride of India was also release on Disney+ Hotstar. It is said that the OTT platform paid Rs. 110 crore for the film.
