Amazon Prime has become our go-to OTT for web series and movies, delivering hard-hitting, entertaining content just at the click of a button. Once again, with its selection of action-thrillers, family drama, and comedy, Amazon Prime is sure to satisfy everyone. Here’s a list of 7 Web series and movies that will be available on Amazon Prime in April 2023:

1. Jubilee

Talented Aditi Rao Hydari, Aparshakti Khurrana, Prosenjit Chatterjee, and Ram Kapoor star in Vikramaditya Motwane’s historical drama Jubilee. The series is set in the late 1940s and early 1950s and follows a group of people from the film business who take the required measures to make it big in the world of glamour. 

2. Flying on a Wing and a Prayer

The tale is based on a real story about a traveler who becomes a hero during a mid-air disaster. When the pilot dies unexpectedly, Doug White (Dennis Quaid) takes command and successfully lands the aircraft.

3. Judy Blume Forever

Apart from its impressive range of genre-defying films and TV shows, Amazon Prime Video has released an enthralling documentary that is based on the popular author Judy Blume’s novel. Entitled “Judy Blume Forever,” the forthcoming series chronicles the celebrated writer’s life and legacy, whose literary creations have inspired countless readers worldwide.

4. Kabzaa

Kabzaa movie is inspired by a few incidents that occurred between 1945 to 1986. It is the saga of Amareshwara and his family which gets destroyed by the British atrocity and later gets into trouble, due to the rise of the mafia. The film features an ensemble cast of Upendra, Shiva Rajkumar, Kiccha Sudeepa, and Shriya Saran.

5. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 5

The popular dramedy, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, is back with a new season, set in 1950s Manhattan. For those unfamiliar with the show, it follows the story of a young mother of two who, after being left by her husband, discovers her natural talent for stand-up comedy.

6. Dead Ringers

A remake of David Cronenberg’s 1988 thriller, the series follows the lives of identical twin gynecologists (Rachel Weisz) who cross the line between ethical and unethical behavior.

7. Citadel

Starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas & Richard Madden, the much-awaited science fiction action thriller series will be released on Amazon Prime Video on April 28. The series is about the global spy agency Citadel, which has fallen and the memory of its agents has been erased. Now, the powerful Manticore crime syndicate is filling the power vacuum. Citadel agents must remember their past and find the strength to fight back. The series includes spinoffs in different countries and languages. As per Amazon, “All of the local series are meant to enhance the entire entertainment experience and will be available for the viewer to deep dive into an imagined layered world.
