Bollywood movies have provided us with entertainment for a long time. Every Friday, they bring us new stories to enjoy. While some films have excelled at the box office, others have not been as successful. Here are the top-grossing Bollywood movies of all time:

1. Dangal (2016)

BO Collection: ₹2024 Crores

Aamir Khan's last super-hit film, Dangal, established his supremacy in the Bollywood industry. The movie became the first film to cross the ₹350 Crore mark domestically and grossed over ₹2000 Crores worldwide. Alongside Aamir Khan, the movie featured Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Sakshi Tanwar, and Aparshakti Khurana.

2. Pathaan (2023)

BO Collection: ₹1000 Crores+

Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan became the highest-grossing film of his career. Despite facing numerous controversies, the movie created a havoc at the box office and broke several records. Recently, Pathaan entered the ₹1000 Crores Club worldwide.




3. Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015)

BO Collection: ₹969.06 Crores

Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan emerged as the highest-grossing film of his career. The movie earned ₹969.06 Crores globally. Alongside Salman Khan, the film stars Kareena Kapoor, Harshali Malhotra, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in pivotal roles.




4. Secret Superstar (2017)

BO Collection: ₹966.86 Crores

Despite featuring lesser-known actors, Secret Superstar created a buzz at the box office. Made on a modest budget of ₹15 Crores, the film managed to garner a worldwide collection of ₹966.86 Crores.


5. PK (2014)

BO Collection: ₹854 Crores

PK, starring Aamir Khan, Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, and Sanjay Dutt, became the first Indian film to cross the ₹300 Crore mark domestically. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, it grossed ₹341 Crores in India and earned a massive ₹854 Crores globally.


6. Sultan (2016)

BO Collection: ₹623.33 Crores

Salman Khan's Sultan became the second highest-grossing film of his career, earning ₹623.33 Crores worldwide. Alongside Salman Khan, the movie stars Anushka Sharma, Randeep Hooda, and Amit Sadh in significant roles.

7. Sanju (2018)

BO Collection: ₹586.85 Crores

Ranbir Kapoor delivered a spectacular performance portraying Sanjay Dutt in Sanju. The film earned ₹586.85 Crores at the worldwide box office.

8. Padmaavat (2018)

BO Collection: ₹571.98 Crores

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat, starring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Shahid Kapoor, faced numerous controversies from the beginning. Despite the threats and boycott calls, the film became a super hit and collected approximately ₹600 Crores worldwide.

9. Tiger Zinda Hai (2017)

BO Collection: ₹565 Crores

Tiger Zinda Hai, part of the YRF spy universe, is one of the highest-grossing Bollywood movies. Starring Salman Khan, the film earned ₹565 Crores globally.

10. Dhoom 3 (2013)

BO Collection: ₹556 crore

Breaking many records, Dhoom 3 became the highest-grossing Bollywood film of all time. It surpassed the box office record of Shah Rukh Khan's Chennai Express. Starring Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra, Katrina Kaif, and Aamir Khan, Dhoom 3 collected ₹285 Crores in India and ₹557 Crores worldwide.


11. War (2017)

BO Collection: ₹475.5 Crores

Hrithik Roshan starrer War, part of Yash Raj Films' Spy Universe, broke several records at the box office. The movie earned ₹475.5 Crores worldwide.

12. 3 Idiots (2009)

BO Collection: ₹460 Crores

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, 3 Idiots became the second Indian film to cross ₹100 Crores and the first Indian film to surpass ₹200 Crores. With outstanding performances by Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Boman Irani, the film collected ₹202.95 Crores in India and made ₹460 Crores worldwide.
