2. Valimai

Valimai turned out to be a blockbuster. Starring Ajith Kumar, Huma Qureshi and Kartikeya Gummakonda, Valimai is a cop drama directed. A series of murders and chain-snatching events happen in Chennai and the villain employs youngsters to carry out the dirty work. How Ajith’s Arjun nabs the villain forms the story.
3. RRR

One of the most-anticipated movies of all time, RRR has been released across India in 10 languages including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. Starring Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, this period action drama revolves around two legendary revolutionaries, who, away from their homeland, started fighting for their country.
4. Bheemla Nayak

Directed by Saaggar K Chandra, the movie has some amazing casts namely Power star Pawan Kalyan, Rana Daggubati, and Sai Pallavi. The story revolves around a police officer who has put a rich, spoiled brat behind the bars and for which the former has to face severe consequences.
5. Dune

This larger-than-life space drama tells the story of Paul Atreides, a brilliant and gifted man, who must travel a desert planet in the year 10191 to ensure the future of his family and people. Dune stars Timothee Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgard, Dave Bautista, Zendaya, Jason Momoa and Javier Bardem, among others. The film released in theatres in 2021, and now, it’s ready to entertain you on OTT.
6. 83

Ranveer Singh’s sports drama was finally released on Netflix and Disney+ Hotstar this week. The Kabir Khan directorial takes us back to the golden day of the Indian cricket history. The date of June 25, 1983, when at the Lord’s Cricket Ground, the Indian cricket team beat the two times World Champions West Indies and put India on the cricket world stage. Ranveer Singh won the Best Actor for this at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2022.
7. Love like the falling petals
(Streaming on Netflix)
If you’re looking for some other interesting foreign-language title, give this Japanese movie directed by Yoshihiro Fukagawa a try. Starring Kento Nakajima and Honoka Matsumoto, the film is a tale of love that encapsulates the transience and beauty of cherry blossoms based on a bestselling novel of the same name in Japan by Keiichi Uyama from Shueisha, produced by Kei Haruna.
