The advance booking for Bhushan Kumar's Adipurush directed by Om Raut is going on in full swing. The film, starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon in lead, has sold nearly 73,000 tickets in the three national chains - PVR, Inox and Cinepolis. PVR is leading from the front with 35,000 tickets followed by Inox and Cinepolis contributing another 38,000 to the total sales for opening day.
With two and a half days still to go, Adipurush is on its course to record one of the biggest advances for a film in Hindi. The advance booking in national chains has already surpassed the overall advance booking of Hrithik Roshan's Vikram Vedha, Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha and Salman Khan's Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. This also speaks volumes about the kind of craze that Prabhas has developed in the masses over the last 5 years as he is already competing with the actors in the top bracket.
In the next few hours, Prabhas will also surpass the advance bookings of Ranbir Kapoor's Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar and will be looking to go past the overall bookings of Kartik Aaryan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 by Wednesday morning. This is a very good advance for Adipurush and it ensures an opening in the range of Rs. 25 to 30 crores.
This will also make Adipurush one of the biggest non holiday openers of all time.
