Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor recently celebrated her 43rd birthday on 25 June. Karisma is one the finest actress of 90s. Despite having a connection with Kapoor family, Karisma had to struggle to make her place in Bollywood. At the same time, after marriage, she always remained in limelight.
Karisma was last appeared in the movie Baaz: A Bird in Danger before her marriage. After this film she quit acting and got married to Sanjay Kapur. The couple have a daughter Samaira and son Kiaan.
But their marriage didn’t last long and they filed for a divorce through mutual consent in 2014. In November 2015, the couple had filed applications to withdraw their consent to it. The couple’s divorce was finalized in 2016.
As we all know before getting married to Sanjay, Karisma was in relationship with actor Abhishek Bachchan. The duo got engaged in 2002 on Amitabh Bachchan’s 60th birthday, but the two got separated within three months.
The reason behind this break up remains as one of the biggest unsolved mysteries of Bollywood till date.
One of the rumours said that it was Karishma’s mother Babita who was instrumental in breaking this match as she was not sure if Abhishek Bachchan will be able to provide for her daughter. So she apparently asked the senior Bachchan to provide with guarantee that most of his possessions will be passed on to Abhishek. And Amitabh disagreed to do that.
Another rumour was that Lolo was not happy at being asked to stop being an actress after marriage by the Bachchans. After this, their relationship was ended.
Later, Karisma got married to Sanjay Kapur. It was Sanjay’s second marriage. Now Sanjay is married to Priya Sachdev. And, Karisma is rumoured to be dating Sandeep Toshniwal. The duo have been seen together many a time Sandeep is the CEO of one of the leading pharmaceutical companies of India. Sandeep is also demanding divorce from his dentist wife Dr Ashrita. Its’ being said that both Sanjay and Karisma are soon to get married once Toshniwal gets divorce.
