Maidaan Release Date Finally Here!
Everyone's been waiting for the movie Maidaan, starring Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn. It was originally supposed to come out in theaters on June 3rd, 2022, but they needed more time to finish editing it. Then they said it would be out on June 23rd, 2023, but it got pushed back again. Finally, Ajay Devgn himself announced the official release date!
Maidaan Hits Theaters on April 10th, 2024!
On Saturday, Ajay Devgn shared the exciting news on his Instagram account. He said, "Come cheer and celebrate with us on April 10th, only in theaters! #MaidaanOnApril10." That's right, Maidaan will be in theaters starting April 10th, 2024.
The Story of a Football Legend
The movie takes place between 1952 and 1962 and tells the inspiring story of Syed Abdul Rahim. He was a famous football coach who helped make the sport of soccer much better in India. The movie is produced by Boney Kapoor and also stars Priyamani, Rudranil Ghosh, and Gajraj Rao in important roles.
Clash of the Titans at the Box Office
Maidaan will be facing some competition when it comes out. Another movie, an action film called "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, is also coming out on April 10th, 2024.
"Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" is written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The movie is produced by a group of people including Zafar, Jackky Bhagnani, Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Himanshu Kishan Mehra. It will be released by Pooja Entertainment and AAZ Films. Besides Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, the cast also includes Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar, Alaya F, and Ronit Bose Roy.
