 Chiranjeevi is one of the most loved megastars in South Indian Cinema whose fan following has been spread across the country. Recently the star has been honoured as ‘Most Prolific Film Star In Indian Cinema’ by The Guinness World Records. Aamir Khan gave the award to Chiranjeevi on September 22 on Sunday. On the same day in 1978, he debuted in the film industry with the Telugu movie Pranam Khareedu. 



The Guinness World Records included his 156 films and 24,000+ dance moves across 537 songs in 45 years.

His daughter-in-law and Ram Charan’s wife Upasana Konidela shared the news on X and wrote “Congratulations to my Mamaya Megastar Chiranjeevi Garu for achieving the Guinness World Record as the Most Prolific Film Star in Indian Cinema, with 156 films and 24,000+ dance moves across 537 songs in 45 years! #ChiranjeeviGuinnessRecord #MegastarChiranjeevi @KChiruTweets @GWR.” 

While talking about Chiranjeevi’s dance, Aamir said “If you watch any of his songs, his heart is completely in it. He enjoys every move, and because of that, we can't take our eyes off him. His joy is infectious, and we all feel it as we watch him.” 

“Your journey has been filled with many milestones, and I'm certain there are more to come. We are always here to be entertained and inspired by you,” he added. 

Renowned filmmaker SS Rajamouli also congratulated the actor. He wrote on X, "Just read that he performed 24,000 dance moves in his career What an incredible 46-year journey! Congratulations to Chiranjeevi garu on achieving the Guinness World Record for being the most prolific star in Indian cinema.” 

Former Minister KTR also congratulated the legendary star on X. He wrote, “From debut to dominance - what an incredible journey it has been for Chiranjeevi Garu! On this day in 1978, Chiranjeevi Garu made his mark in Telugu cinema. And now, 46 years later, the world celebrates his unparalleled legacy with a Guinness World Record for being the most prolific star in Indian cinema!
