Two Onam releases, Ajayante Randam Moshanam (ARM) and Kiskikanda Kaandam are doing very well in the theaters. Both movies, starring Tovino Thomas and Asif Ali respectively, have had a great second weekend. ARM is getting close to earning Rs 70 crore while Kishkindha Kaandam is about to earn Rs 50 crore worldwide.
Ajayante Randam Moshanam (ARM) Makes Rs 14 Crore More in its Second Weekend
ARM, starring Tovino Thomas, Kirthi Shetty, Aishwarya Rajesh, Basil Joseph, and others, made more than Rs 14 crore in its second weekend. This comes after a strong first week where it earned Rs 54 crore worldwide. In total, ARM has made Rs 68 crore globally in 11 days, with Rs 42.50 crore coming from India.
This fantasy action-adventure movie, directed by Jithin Laal, is also doing very well in other countries, where it made around USD 3.1 million by the end of its second weekend.
ARM was released at the same time as Asif Ali's Kishkindha Kaandham, which is also doing great at the box office.

Kiskikanda Kaandam Beats Ajayante Randam Moshanam in the Second Weekend, Adds Rs 20 Crore
Kiskikanda Kaandam, starring Asif Ali and Aparna Balamurali, is a big hit. This mystery-thriller, directed by Dinjith Ayyathan, is very popular and even affected the earnings of Tovino Thomas' ARM, even though it's a smaller budget film.
Even though it opened with much lower earnings than the 3D action-adventure, it did amazingly well in its second weekend, earning a huge Rs 20 crore worldwide. This means it made Rs 6 crore more than ARM in the second weekend.
In total, Kishkindha Kaandam has now earned a strong Rs 46 crore worldwide. Rs 27.30 crore came from India, and the rest, USD 2.22 million, came from other countries by the end of its second weekend.

This mystery-thriller will soon earn Rs 50 crore worldwide, making it the first movie starring Asif Ali to do so.
Kiskikanda Kaandam is catching up to ARM in terms of total earnings. It will be interesting to see if it can earn more than ARM by the time it stops showing in theaters.
