They belonged to an average middle-class family. Her father used to sell samosas outside school and college.
Later, Neha Kakkar, along with her younger brother Tony Kakkar moved to Mumbai. She was a part of Indian Idol season 2, but her journey was short as she got eliminated. But later, with a lot of struggles and hard work, she finally made it up the ladder. Today she is at the peak of her career.
