Taapsee will have as many as five films up for release. Now, it looks like she has yet another project that has fallen into her kitty, and in this one, she has been paired opposite Pratik Gandhi of Scam 1992 fame.
Taapsee will be seen in Siddharth Roy Kapur’s production, Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan? and Pratik has been cast opposite the talented actress in this one. Both Taapsee and Pratik confirmed the news. Talking to Mid Day, the actress said, “I loved the strong and thoroughly entertaining character that Arshad had written for me. It is exciting to partner with a producer as prolific as Sid, as well as Pratik, whose performance in Scam 1992 left a lasting impression on me.” Pratik said, “I was looking to dive into something totally different after Scam 1992, and this role ticked all the boxes.”
The film would be an investigative comedy directed by Arshad Syed. The report mentions that Taapsee will play a feisty cop while Pratik will play a chauvinist brat.
