Gone are the days when significant actors and actresses used to rule the Bollywood film industry and many even thought that those stars would go on to make many films in their career and entertain the fans in the years to come. They have entertained us with their incredible performances during their acting career.
It is no secret that the Bollywood industry has largely been influenced by people who haven’t heir link-ups in the industry. The so-called star kids of already established ones are already in the headlines for all the reasons and are allowed to stay there despite their success or failure. On the contrary, talented ones are struggling to set their feet.
Meanwhile, some stars faced an untimely death at a very young age under mysterious circumstances which left the whole country shocked. But Bollywood is full of mysterious deaths of actors who passed away at a young age.
Owing to suicide attempts in Bollywood, ‘depression’ is now in the headlines. Depression is characterised by a depressed mood and aversion to exercise. It can have an effect on a person’s emotions, actions, inspiration, feelings, and overall sense of well being. But why are only outsiders dying and it’s being declared natural death?
5. Jiah Khan (1988-2013)
The ever-so beautiful British-American actress and singer featured in three films from 2007 to 2010 and she was last seen acting in a movie- Housefull. On 3rd June 2013, she was found hanging with a ceiling fan in her Mumbai apartment. She passed away when she was 25 years old.
Based on the prima facie, it appeared to be a suicide case but later Aditya Pancholi’s son Sooraj Pancholi was taken into police custody for promoting suicide. It should be noted that Sooraj Pancholi was Jiah’s boyfriend and they were allegedly in a live-in relationship.
4. Divya Bharti (1974-1993)
Divya Bharti kick-started her cinema career in 1990 and she earned massive fan-following at that time. However, tragedy soon followed her around like a shadow when she accidentally fell off the balcony of her fifth-floor apartment at the Tulsi buildings in Versova, Mumbai when she was 19 years old.
Divya Bharti, who was the wife of Sajid Nadiadwalawas one of the top Bollywood actresses during the 90’s era. Her sudden demise took the whole world by shock as she jumped off the 5th floor of her apartment. The police initiated a probe on this matter and later found out to be a case of suicide with no evidence.
She was then immediately rushed to the Cooper hospital where her cause of death was mentioned as the “heavy internal bleeding at the back of the head” which was severely injured.
However, the reason behind her falling from the apartment was not known. It remains to be seen whether she accidentally fell off after being under the influence of alcohol or perhaps someone might have had pushed her from the balcony.

3. Pratyusha Banerjee (1991-2016)
Pratyusha Banerjee who played Anandi in ‘Balika Vadhu’ passed away on April 1, 2016, when she was 24 years old. The actress was found hanging at her Goregaon residence, in what shook the entire Bollywood fraternity. The actress was rushed to a nearby local hospital in Andheri by her live-in boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh. Nonetheless, she was declared brought dead.
2. Sushant Singh Rajput (1986-2020)
After Sushant’s death, there was a news report doing the rounds about how Mahesh Bhatt had reportedly asked Sushant Singh’s rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty to vacate the flat and leave the actor immediately after she told him about him hearing voices and behaving strangely.
Rhea had even accepted in a statement to the police that she and Sushant were planning to get hitched. She also disclosed that Sushant was diagnosed with depression. She added that his mentor, who is Mahesh Bhatt, had also advised her to leave Sushant Singh because of his mental condition. This very statement resulted in an uproar among fans who then questioned her and the veteran director’s relationship.
Rhea’s mom Suhrita confirmed that Rhea used to consult Mahesh Bhatt every time she was upset about Sushant getting frustrated. She also said that he had asked Rhea to quit the relationship. Suhrita had claimed Bhatt drew similarities between Parveen Babi’s mental health condition and that of Sushant Singh Rajput’s.
Earlier, Mahesh Bhatt arrived at the Santa Cruz Police Station to record his statement with the police in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. “I have met Sushant Singh in person only twice — once in 2018 about my book and again in 2020,” the Bollywood director informed the police.
1. Sidharth Shukla
Sidharth Shukla kick-started his career as a model. In 2008, he was featured in the Tawa serial Babul Ka Aangan Chhote Na, but he became one of the popular faces with the TV show Balika Vadhu in 2013.
He was born on 12 December 1980 in Mumbai. Following the tremendous success in the TV industry, Siddharth switched to the Bollywood film industry and after which he spiced it up in the 2014 film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.
Besides this, his web series “Broken But Beautiful” also came in the same year itself and it garnered a lot of attention among the masses.
Sidharth Shukla drew his last breath at 40 on September 2. The news of the TV industry’s famous actor’s death saw a wave of mourning in the Bollywood industry. As per the reports, the actor passed away due to a heart attack. Sidharth Shukla was the winner of Bigg Boss season 13.
Everyone is shocked by Siddharth Shukla’s demise. At the same time, Shehnaaz Kaur Gill is totally broken as soon as the news came to the fore. But according to media reports, Shahnaz is in shock and is not conscious and couldn’t really believe this.
Meanwhile, Sidharth’s colleague and former Bigg Boss contestant Sana Khan expressed shock. During an interaction with Aaj Tak, she said that Shehnaaz Gill would be heartbroken and she can feel her pain
Shahnaz Gill once added in an interview that “my relationship with Siddharth is different. He is like my family”. On top of that, the fans liked the pair Shahnaz and Siddharth Shukla. Fans call them by the name Sidnaz.
Bigg Boss fame Shahnaz often used to frankly say in the show that she is hungry for love and wants Siddharth to be with her. Even when the host of the show, Salman Khan openly asked Shehnaaz if she and Siddharth were girlfriend boyfriends, he said – ‘No, but there is something between us, on which Siddharth also agreed’.
If reports doing the rounds are to be believed, then Siddhartha slept with medicine last night. It is said that he didn’t wake up in the morning. As of now, Siddhartha’s body is at the Cooper Hospital in Mumbai. Several celebrities on Twitter are mourning the death of Siddharth.
