1. Sidharth Malhotra
People have been expressing their reactions to the film on Twitter since its release on August 12th. Some say it’s Sidharth Malhotra’s greatest performance ever, while others praise Shershaah‘s cinematography and story-line. But most probably what everyone is talking about is that the actor delivered the needed emotion to the film in a heartbreaking way. The actor has definitely made wise use of Shershaah’s canvas to display his abilities, charging a hefty Rs 7 crore for the movie.
2. Kiara Advani
Meanwhile, Kiara Advani, who plays Captain Batra’s love interest and female lead character, Dimple Cheema, in this film, has received a great response for her unconditional support for Batra. Cheema, who met Vikram Batra in 1995 and never married him. But she still now lives as his widow. As a result, portraying the powerful character genuinely required bravery, which the actress displayed wonderfully, she charged with a whopping amount of Rs 4 crore for it.
3. Shiv Panditt
Shiv Panditt is already a gifted actor, so his measured approach to his role isn’t surprising. He earned Rs. 45 lakh for his performance as Sanjeev Jamwal (popularly known as Jimmy), Batra’s lieutenant colonel. They don’t get off to a good start in the movie. Later, they get so close that Jamwal is seen sobbing at the funeral of Batra.
4. Nikitin Dheer
Major Ajay Singh Jasrotia, who was martyred in the Kargil conflict, was brilliantly represented by Nikitin Dheer in this film. For his brilliant performance, he earned Rs 35 lakh.
5. Anil Charanjeett
Anil Charanjeett portrayed Vikram Batra’s close army buddy Naib Subedar Bansi Lal’s role in this film. He reportedly charged Rs 25 lakh for his work, according to some reports.
6. Pawan Chopra
Pawan Chopra, who played GL Batra’s role, Vikram Batra’s heartbroken but brave father, was paid around Rs 50 lakhs for his work on the film.
7. Mir Sarwar
In this film, Mir Sarwar played the deadly terrorist Haider. In the film, he reportedly charged Rs 25 lakhs for this role.
