Apart from donating money for a good cause, some celebs also have their own organisations that aim at improving the lives of people. While the list is quite long, let's take a look at some of the most charitable Bollywood celebs and the good that they have done for the society.

Shah Rukh Khan is known as Bollywood's 'king' for a reason. Apart from being a great actor, SRK ensures that he does whatever he can for the welfare of others. The actor's charitable deeds led him to become the first Indian to receive an award at the 20th UNESCO Charity event in Germany. The award was conferred upon SRK for his dedication towards helping children with their education.
Priyanka Chopra's presence in the charitable events often makes headlines. The actress, who recently became a mother via surrogacy, has been working for kids' education and well-being. She was the National Ambassador of UNICEF in 2010 and is also associated with their Save The Girl campaign. Apart from this, she owns an NGO called the Priyanka Chopra Foundation. A part of her income goes into the foundation, reports suggest.

Forbes magazine recognised Vivek Oberoi's charitable personality and featured him on their Heroes of Philanthropy list in 2011. The actor also has an NGO named One which has a hand in various development projects, one of them being Project Devi. He was also involved in an effort of rebuilding villages affected by Tsunami.
