Gone are the days when filmmakers struggled with budgets. Now, producers are willing to splurge and how! In this year, we are going to witness some of the most high-budget movies that have been ever produced and we are expecting them to be a visual treat. At the top is SS Rajamouli's RRR. He is know to make extravagant films and RRR starring Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn do not seem to be an exception. The trailer itself has given us a hint that this film with be grander than any other SS Rajamouli film. Well, if reports are anything to go by, this film is made on a budget of approximately Rs 400 crores.
Ponniyin Selvan
Mani Ratnam's much-talked about movie Ponniyin Selvan starring Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Jairam, Shobhita Dhulipala, Aishwarya Lakshmi and Vikram Prabhu is said to be one expensive film. As per a report in bhaskar.com, its budget is Rs 500 crore. WHAT!
Adipurush
Adipurush has one of the biggest superstars of South - Prabhas in the lead role. Directed by Om Raut it is a a 3D film produced under the banner of T-Series and Retrophiles Production. The budget is reported to be Rs 500 crore.
Brahmastra
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's film Brahmastra that has been in the making for years now is said to be one of the most expensive Bollywood films. It's budget is rumoured to be Rs 300 crore. Ayan Mukherjee is putting in his best to make Brahmastra a one of its kind.
Prithviraj
Prithviraj starring Akshay Kumar marks Manushi Chillar's entry in Bollywood. The period drama is said to be a high-budget one with the makers reportedly shelling out Rs 300 crore to make the film.
Radhe Shyam
Another film starring Prabhas that is soon to release in Radhe Shyam. It has Pooja Hegde playing the female lead in the film. And well, as all other movies of the Baahubali star, this one too is an extravagant experience made with a budget of Rs 350 crore, reportedly.
Acharya
Ram Charan and father Chiranjeevi's movie Acharya too has been made on high budget. If whispers are to be believed, it has been made on a budget of Rs 140 crore.
