We all know that 2022 has not been a good year for Bollywood. Many Bollywood biggies like Samrat Prihviraj Raj, Laal Singh Chaddha, Shamshera, and others have failed to make a mark at the box office. But, finally the jinxed has been broken by Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra. The movie in two days has collected Rs. 160 crore gross worldwide at the box office which is excellent. Even the boycott trend didn’t affect the film at the box office. Now, Brahmastra has got audiences back to the theatres and this will surely help the upcoming Bollywood biggies…
Vikram Vedha
After Brahmastra, Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan starrer Vikram Vedha is the next biggie that’s going to hit the big screens. The movie is remake of a Tamil film of the same name, but Hrithik and Saif’s performance in the trailer has surely grabbed everyone’s attention. Well, #BoycottVikramVedha had also trended on social media after Hrithik praised Laal Singh Chaddha. But, clearly the trailer has shut everyone’s mouth and moviegoers are excited to watch the film.
Thank God
There wasn’t any buzz about Thank God, but as soon as the trailer was launched a couple of days ago, people started talking about it. The movie starring Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra, and Rakul Preet Singh is all set to release on Diwali this year. The festival will work in the film’s favour at the box office, and also after Shershaah, moviegoers are excited to watch Sidharth. He has also been in the news a lot because of his rumoured relationship with Kiara. So, a lot of factors are working for Thank God.
Ram Setu
After three back to back flops, Akshay Kumar is now gearing up for the fourth release of the year, Ram Setu. The movie also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha in the lead roles. Ram Setu has a mythological touch to it, and it’s a Diwali release, so the film will grab the attention of the audiences. Now, everyone is keen to watch the trailer of the film
Cirkus
Last year in Diwali, Rohit Shetty’s directorial Sooryavanshi had got audiences back to the theatres and it was a super hit at the box office. This Christmas, the filmmaker is all set to make us laugh out loud with Cirkus which stars Ranveer Singh in the lead role. The director-actor duo has given a blockbuster like Simmba, so now we can expect that 2022 will end with bang at the box office with Cirkus.
