Brahmastra is rock steady on its fifth day as the film has collected in the range of Rs. 12.75 to Rs. 13.75 crores on Tuesday taking the five-day total collection to Rs. 150.50 crores. There is a drop of around 15 percent compared to Monday and it would have been better had the film scored a drop of less than 10 percent, but still, these are big numbers for a working day.

The fifth-day collection of Brahmastra is marginally lower than the first-day collection of this year's second biggest opener, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt film directed by Ayan Mukerji has headed for an opening week of around Rs. 170 crores and will surely enter the Rs. 200 crore club by the end of the second weekend.

Of the Rs. 150 crores, Brahmastra has collected nearly Rs. 17.50 crores from the South Dubbed Version, with Rs. 132.50 crores coming in from the Hindi original. It will become the second highest-grossing Ranbir Kapoor film after Sanju with ease and it remains to be seen if the film can enter the Rs. 250 crore club in the long run in Hindi.

Brahmastra is faring like a Hollywood film in India and hence, the jump in collections on Saturday and Sunday will determine the lifetime business of the film. If it manages to double up on Saturday and then show another 25 percent jump on Sunday, a 250 crore finish will well be within reach. The trend on weekdays should have been better with lower drop percentage, but nonetheless, this can still be considered a decent result, given the fact that on ground reports around the film are also mixed.
