With the heated debate about South Indian Cinema beating Bollywood at the box office, it’s high time that Bollywood delivers good successful movies. With KGF: Chapter 2, RRR, and Pushpa, South Indian Cinema has done really well across the country.
Here are some of the big upcoming blockbuster Bollywood films that could break some box office records when they release:
1. Brahmastra
Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, Brahmastra has been in the making for years now. Recently, the film got its first poster. With the many superstars like Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Nagarjuna making big cameos in the film, many see Brahmastra as Bollywood’s answer to box office success.
2. Pathaan
With Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan is finally making his comeback to films. Along with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, this movie will also have a cameo by Salman Khan. The movie is seriously being looked like a big blockbuster.
3. Tiger 3
After super successful Tiger 1 & 2, Salman Khan finally returns with the third installment of the Tiger film franchise with Katrina Kaif. The movie will see Salman face off against Emraan Hashmi in this high-stakes action film.
4. Laal Singh Chaddha
Adapted from Tom Hank’s Forrest Gump, Aamir Khan’s much-awaited Laal Singh Chaddha will star Kareena Kapoor Khan and also Salman. We are hoping this comedy-drama will also be as successful as Aamir’s earlier movies like Dangal & Secret Superstar
5. Ram Setu
Another Bollywood movie, that is expected to break box office records is Mr. Khiladi Akshay Kumar’s Ram Setu. Akshay has a big lineup of films in his kitty with his Ram Setu being one of the very exciting ones. With Akshay, the movie stars Nushrat Bharucha and Jacqueline Fernandez. The movie revolves around the story of an archaeologist exploring the origins of the Ram Setu bridge from Ramayan.
