We are so excited to share that South Indian Film Industry is gearing up to release some much-awaited movies with strong female leads in the month of November.  From Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s Yashoda to Kajal Aggarwal’s Ghosty, here is a list of south movies with strong female leads that will be released in November.

South Films With Female Leads:

Yashoda

Yashoda is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language science fiction action thriller film written and directed by Hari–Harish. It stars Samantha in the titular role. The movie follows Yashoda, a young woman who chooses to be a surrogate mother in exchange for cash. But during the process, she uncovers some illegal activities happening in the clinic involving surrogate mothers. 

Padmini

Based on the life of T.K. Padmini, India’s top painter of the 1960s, this biopic stars Anumol. The movie captures how Padmini, a young village girl, turned into an artist as she fought against society’s regressive mindset.

Ghosty

Ghosty – the horror thriller – stars Kajal Aggarwal in the lead role of a police officer. The movie revolves around a police officer, who is haunted by the ghost of the actress. The movie will be soon released in theatres, the makers have not yet announced the release date.

Wonder Women

Wonder Women is a tale of pregnant women who meet at a prenatal class and stumble on far more than they expect! As they prepare to become mothers, they learn their true identities. The film stars Nithya Menen, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Nadiya Moidu, Padmapriya, Sayanora Philip, Archana Padmini, and Amruta Subhash in the lead roles. Though the movie is made in English, it has a touch of other languages like Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. Writer-Director Anjali Menon brings together a wonderful cast for ‘Wonder Women’ streaming on Sony LIV from Nov 18th 2022.

My Name is Shruti

Telugu crime thriller that stars Hansika Motwani in the lead role. The movie revolves around Shruti – a successful ad filmmaker – who is a victim of domestic violence.
