Ankita Lokhande Acts for Free in Randeep Hooda's Movie "Swatantrya Veer Savarkar"
Ankita Lokhande is being praised for her performance in the new movie "Swatantrya Veer Savarkar," directed by actor Randeep Hooda. Hooda also plays the lead role in the film. The movie just came out recently.
Interestingly, the producer of the movie, Sandeep Singh, revealed that Ankita Lokhande didn't ask for any money to be in the film. He said this in an interview.
According to Singh, he had a hard time finding actors for "Swatantrya Veer Savarkar" because he had been criticized by the media in the past. He didn't tell Lokhande about this, though. He simply offered her the role of Yamunabai in the movie.
Ankita Lokhande surprised him by saying she wouldn't charge for the role. She told him she would never take money from him for any part she plays in his movies. Singh was so impressed that he said she would be in all his future films.
Singh also said that Ankita Lokhande has been a friend for a long time. He knew her even before he became a director. Back when he was working for a big production company, they worked together on several movies.
He said that Ankita Lokhande, along with actress Kangana Ranaut, were actually some of the first people to encourage him to become a director. Lokhande even told him she would act in any movie he made. He tried to cast her in his previous movie, but it didn't work out. They stayed in touch while he was filming that movie, though.
