 Chiranjeevi added yet another feather to his illustrious cap by earning a spot in the Guinness World Records. The veteran actor has been officially recognized as the 'Most Prolific Film Star in the Indian Film Industry' for his incredible contributions spanning over four decades. At an event held in Hyderabad, Chiranjeevi was presented with the Guinness World Records certificate by Bollywood actor Aamir Khan. The event holds special significance for Chiranjeevi as it coincides with the anniversary of his debut in the film industry 46 years ago, on the same date in 1978.



The Guinness World Record certificate acknowledged Chiranjeevi for his exceptional achievements, having performed a staggering 24,000 dance moves across 537 songs in his 156 films. This achievement covers a career that has spanned 45 years, during which the Megastar has earned a place as one of the most iconic and beloved actors in Indian cinema. Reflecting on the honour, Chiranjeevi expressed his surprise and gratitude. "I never expected to get Guinness World Records. Dance has become a part of my life throughout my career, and this recognition feels surreal. I am thankful to everyone who has supported me along the way,” the actor shared at the event.

Aamir Khan, who was invited to present the award, spoke fondly of his admiration for Chiranjeevi. In his speech, the Bollywood star mentioned how Chiranjeevi is like an elder brother to him. "I was thrilled when Chiranjeevi Garu invited me to this event. I had no second thoughts about attending because I am a huge fan of his. His dancing skills are incredible, and it is impossible to take your eyes off him when he's performing. He enjoys every move, and that joy is infectious," Aamir said, adding that Chiranjeevi’s legacy is a treasure that will continue to grow.

Over the years, he has headlined blockbusters like Rudra Veena, Indra, Tagore, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Stalin and Gang Leader, earning him the title of 'Megastar' of Indian cinema.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions to Indian cinema, Chiranjeevi was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 2006 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2023, the second-highest civilian honour in India. His latest accolade from the Guinness World Records further cements his status as one of the most revered figures in the film industry. Chiranjeevi's unique blend of acting and dancing has set him apart in the Indian film industry.
