Jr NTR, in a chat with Karan Johar, talked about his experience working with director Ayan Mukerji on the upcoming movie War 2. He contrasted the different work styles of South Indian and Hindi film directors.

Jr NTR mentioned that most South Indian directors don't do a lot of preparation before filming and he prefers this approach. He believes that too much preparation limits the chance for exploration and spontaneity. He described South Indian film sets as 'chaotically organized', where last-minute changes are common even when deadlines are looming. He feels this chaos actually leads to better organization and makes the artists more instinctive.

However, Ayan Mukerji prefers extensive pre-production planning, which clashed with Jr NTR's style. When Jr NTR told Ayan that he works instinctively, Ayan was unsure how that would work. Producer Aditya Chopra had to step in and mediate between the two.
