In the show, Colin Farrell plays the same bad guy, Oswald Cobblepot (aka The Penguin), from the movie "The Batman." The story takes place right after that movie, and Oswald is trying to take control of the criminal world in Gotham City.
Critics like the show too. One reviewer said it's a really interesting look at crime and that it's both disturbing and exciting to watch.
The show has other famous actors like Rhenzy Feliz and Michael Zegen. Mark Strong plays Carmine Falcone, who was played by a different actor in "The Batman."
Lauren LeFranc is in charge of the show, and Matt Reeves, who directed "The Batman," is also involved. Colin Farrell is not only the main actor but also helps produce the show.
