Pankaj Tripathi has been our favorite north Indian character in films and series. There’s no single role that he has not acted properly or blended into the character. But of course, there are the favorites of his career and the movies which he has been extraordinarily good at.

Let’s look at some of Pankaj Tripathi’s best performances:

1. Masaan – 2015

Not very much of screen time, but a lasting impression on the whole film at the end. He was subtle, yet very impactful.

2. Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl – 2020

The father and daughter duo was probably the best on-screen relationship that was portrayed. Not only did he play the character but he allegedly went into the role.

3. Mimi – 2021

Being a side role he did do justice to the film, without the silly jokes and the comical approach this film wouldn’t have been a success.

4. Newton – 2017

He played the role of an Assistant Commandant, namely, Aatma Singh. The depth of the storyline and his acting gave it all a new turn. Which made the screenplay even better.

5. Nil Battey Sannata – 2015

Though his screentime was less since he got the role of a principal. But he played it flawlessly making a huge impact.

6. Stree – 2018

The full was supposed to be funny including his dialogues and spontaneous comical approach. Felt like the role was made for him itself.

7. Bareilly Ki Barfi – 2017

The other cast of the film was a strong team. Despite if them overshadowing his spotlight, Pankaj stood out and played his role just the way he was expected and did way in doing so.

8. Dilwale – 2015

Though the film had stars like SRK and Kajol, Pankaj was given a really small role to play. But his main job was to create the fun atmosphere there, especially the ‘pogo’ part. His role was very small and short, yet played out.
