1. Ajay Devgn in RRR and Gangubai Kathiawad

Ajay Devgn will be next seen playing the role of Syed Abdul Rahim, the manager of the Indian Football from 1950 to 1963, the coach who is considered to be the architect of the Indian football. Ajay Devgn is reported to charge a hefty remuneration for this movie. Recently, the actor also made a cameo appearance in two movies that performed pretty well at the box office. After Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, he teamed up with Sanjay Leela Bhansali once again for Gangubai Kathiawadi and portrayed the role of Rahim Lala. Though the length of his role was pretty small in the movie his character was vital as he was the force behind making Gangubai the powerful woman. To play Lala, he charged Rs 11 crores for the extended cameo, per DNA. The actor recently also made an appearance in SS Rajamouli’s RRR for which he charged Rs 35 crore for 7 days of work, per ABP Live.

2. Alia Bhatt in RRR

Joining the league of charging a hefty price for a cameo is also Alia Bhatt who starred in Rajamouli’s RRR alongside Ram Charan and Jr NTR. Bhatt played the role of Sita who was the love interest of Ram Charan in the movie. With less than 15 minutes of screen time, she took home a pay cheque of Rs 9 crore.

3. Sylvester Stallone in Kambakkht Ishq

There came a time when Bollywood and Hollywood had crossed paths. From script adaptation to actors making appearances in Indian cinema. The Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor starrer movie Kambakkht Ishq gained eyeballs for its cameo appearances by Hollywood actors more than its story. In 2009, Rocky star Sylvester Stallone graced the Hindi movie screen and charged £350,000 (approx Rs 3.4 crore) for a role that lasted nothing more than a couple of minutes.

Aanand L Rai’s most-anticipated movie dropped this year and starred the trio of Dhanush, Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan which created quite a buzz among the audience. While Dhanush and Khan played the lead, Kumar’s character was kept under the wrap. Having played a cameo, Kumar’s character was essential for the story building of the movie. The actor charged a whopping Rs 27 Crore for the role.

5. Huma Qureshi in Gangubai Kathiwadi

The actress who made a special appearance as Dilruba in the movie and performed a special number took home a remuneration of Rs 2 crore, per News18. This makes her the third-highest paid actor in Bhansali’s movie Gangubai.
