1. Bachchhan Paandey – Amazon Prime

Starring Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon, this commercial flick is about to be released on Amazon Prime Video on April 15. Directed by Farhad Samji, the film covers the story of gangster Bachchhan Paandey and an aspiring filmmaker Myra Devekar who decides to make a biopic on Paandey. The film also features Jacqueline Fernandez and Arshad Warsi in significant roles. Though the movie got a cold response at box-office, let’s see how it performs at OTT.

2. James – SonyLiv

The last film of Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar – James – is the story of Santhosh Kumar who runs a security agency and has been commissioned to take care of a family that owns a drug cartel. Besides Rajkumar, this film features Priya Anand, Shivaraj Kumar, R Sarathkumar, Srikanth Meka and Adithya Menon in significant roles. The film is set to release on SonyLiv on April 14.

3. Mai: Season 1 Streaming on Netflix

The Karnesh Ssharma-backed crime thriller series is centred around 47-year-old wife and mother Sheel who is determined to uncover the cause of her daughter Supriya’s death. The series, which will stream on Netflix from April 15, features Sakshi Tanwar, Raima Sen and Vivek Mushran in significant roles.

4. Death On the Nile – Disney + Hotstar

Hercule Poirot’s vacation turns into a nightmare as he must now investigate the murder of a young heiress. The movie stars Gal Gadot, Kenneth Branagh, Armie Hammer, Tom Bateman, Annette Bening, Russell Brand, Ali Fazal, Rose Leslie, Dawn French, Sophie Okonedo, Jennifer Saunders and Letitia Wright and is inspired by Agatha Christie’s novel of the same title.

5. The Kardashians – Disney + Hotstar

The Kardashians is an upcoming reality television series focusing on the personal lives of the Kardashian-Jenner family. The series will premiere on Hulu on April 14. It will also be available on Disney+ Hotstar. It will focus on the sisters Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, their half-sisters Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner and their mother Kris Jenner. It will also feature their partners – Kanye West, Scott Disick and Travis Barker.

6. Anatomy Of a Scandal: Limited Series – Netflix

Created by Emmy winner David E, the six-episode show revolves around British politician James Whitehorse and his wife Sophie —and a sexual consent scandal that threatens to disrupt their marriage.

7. No Exit – Disney + Hotstar

The thriller revolves around Darby Throne, a young woman en route to a family emergency who is stranded in a blizzard and forced to find shelter at a highway rest area with a group of strangers. Soon she stumbles upon an abducted girl in a van in the parking lot, which puts her in a terrifying situation to find who among these people is a kidnapper. This is the fight for life and death. 

8. Veyil – Amazon Prime Video

Karthi and Sidhu live with their mother. How they deal with the challenges thrown at them together forms the narrative.

9. Heirs to the land: Season 1 – Netflix

The Spanish series is adapted from Ildefonso Falcones’ novel of the same name and stars Yon González, David Solans and Michelle Jenner.



10. Lunana – Amazon Prime Video

Nominated for Best International Feature Film, Lunana is about an aspiring singer living with his grandmother in the capital of Bhutan. He dreams of getting a visa to Australia and relocating there.
