In the fast-paced world of Bollywood, anticipation often runs high for the release of new movies that promise to captivate and entertain audiences. From intriguing trailers to star-studded casts, there are numerous reasons why certain films become highly anticipated events for moviegoers across the nation. However, in recent times, not all movies have lived up to the soaring expectations they generate.

Despite the initial hype, some Bollywood films have left audiences not just disappointed but brutally so, leaving them pondering what went wrong. Here are recent Bollywood movies that had everyone eagerly waiting, only to fall short of delivering the cinematic brilliance they promised.

1. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan

Many people were excited about Salman Khan’s much-awaited movie – Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. But, the movie turned out to be so bad that many asked Salman Khan to stop taking his fans for granted. 3. Shehzada

After the success of Bhool Bhulaiya 2, everyone was excited about Kartik Aryan’s Shehzada. 4. Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar

Even after having a super talented star cast of Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, Luv Ranjan’s film fail to live up to the hype. The movie tends to perpetuate a misogynistic idea, where a woman’s concerns are deemed baseless, and she is expected to give up her belief system for her boyfriend.

This film once again highlights Ranjan’s portrayal of men as superior beings and women as manipulative and self-centered. Though the movie may have managed to earn decent at the box office, the movie left many fans disappointed. With its prevalent misogyny and sexism, this movie failed to live up to the hype it created.
